The people behind one of voice-over's longest-running casting platforms are bringing their marketplace playbook to brand video, with multinational clients already lined up.
The team that has run voice casting marketplace The Voice Realm since 2011 is launching a second platform, The Creator Realm. It's built for a different buyer: brands that need video from content creators.
The new marketplace lets businesses hire creators for product videos and other brand content, with prices shown upfront. Creators on the platform charge from roughly $100 for simple videos up to $10,000 for premium productions, spread across three price bands.
Looking after talent and making sure every client is properly served is in our DNA.KMKurt Myers
The launch carries over the company's main asset: years of running a two-sided marketplace. Casting platforms have to keep talent loyal and paid fairly while giving clients fast, reliable results, and those needs pull against each other. The Creator Realm brings the same staff and the same model to creator video, a market growing quickly as brands move budget into creator content.
The job is a delicate balance. We sit in the middle and look after both sides, and for more than 15 years that's what has made us successful.KMKurt Myers
The company says demand is in place from day one. Several multinational brands are ready to start commissioning creators as soon as the platform opens.
The whole team is thrilled to move into this space, and we already have a handful of multinational clients ready to go.KMKurt Myers
Creator marketplaces are a crowded field, and the hard part is the one the company is pointing to: keeping quality high for brands while making the platform worth it for creators. The Creator Realm is betting that more than a decade of doing that in voice-over gives it a head start.
